As you may or may not know, Lots of IOOK VP's plus one P are active on a mode called
APRS ( Automatic Position Reporting System ) That is where you hook a Radio and
a GPS receiver
to a packet TNC and it reports your location. There are also weather
stations and I'm sure lots more things it can do. Here are some links to
