As you may or may not know, Lots of IOOK VP's plus one P are active on a mode called APRS ( Automatic Position Reporting System ) That is where you hook a Radio and a GPS receiver to a packet TNC and it reports your location. There are also weather stations and I'm sure lots more things it can do.  Here are some links to some of the IOOK that are APRS active.
