Charles “Chuck” Russell Martin age 80,
passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 in Beavercreek, OH.
He was born on February 19, 1933 in Salem, IN to the late Russell Andrew &
Marcia (Dumford) Martin.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 56 years, Marie.
He is survived by his son Dan (& Kim) Martin, grandchildren: Ryan and
Amanda; sister, Joyce (& Jim) Beard, and nieces Lois and Lisa.
Chuck was a Weather Forecaster with the Air Force for 22 years, and later taught
Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth Science for Tecumseh High School for 16
years. He received his Master’s Degree from Wright State University. He was
active member of the Dayton Amateur Radio Association. Chuck was a member of St.
Andrew’s United Methodist Church.
A visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2013 at Newcomer
Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2013 also at the
Funeral Home.
Interment in Clarksville Cemetery.
